Consultation process

The taxi and private hire licensing policy went out to consultation on the 25th June for 10 weeks. It was shared with the following:  The Police; Elected members; The Local Safeguarding Board; Taxi and private hire licence holders (or their representatives); Representatives of local businesses and residents’ organisations; Public transport providers; Local Chamber of Commerce/BID; Local Authority Testing Stations; Taxi Conversion Companies;  Home to School Transport; Local Pubwatch Groups; the public; Public Health; and Minority Groups.

 

The consultation was also advertised in the local press, made available in all of our libraries and public notices were displayed at Westgate Plaza One and the Town Hall notice board.
