Consultation process
The contract for the Specialist Stop Smoking Service is due to end on 31st October 2019.
The business case has been developed to provide evidence of need and effectiveness to re-procure a Stop smoking service to reduce the prevalence, improve prevention and make smoking invisible. This is a result of the system wide approach to tobacco control across Barnsley.
Key partners have been engaged in this process and will continue to be involved in the development of the new service.
An Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) has been developed to ensure that any changes to the commissioned minimise adverse impact on Service users.
