To confirm the appointment of the Executive Leader for a fixed term of four years until the Annual Council meeting 2026.

To note the appointment by the Leader, in accordance with the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, the following Cabinet Members, Cabinet Support Members and Member Community Cohesion Champion:-

RESOLVED that Councillor Sir Steve Houghton CBE be confirmed as the Executive Leader of the Council for a fixed term of four years until the Annual Council Meeting 2026

Councillor Sir Steve Houghton CBE gave thanks for his appointment.
