To seek approval, in accordance with Section 85 of the Local Government Act 1972, for the absence from meetings of the Authority on behalf of Councillor Gardiner on the grounds of ill health and pending the receipt of medical certification that he is fit to resume his duties.

RESOLVED that, in accordance with Section 85 of the Local Government Act 1972, approval be given for the absence from meetings of the Authority on behalf of Councillor Gardiner on the grounds of ill health and pending the receipt of medical certification that he is fit to resume his duties.
