Agenda item

(a)  To confirm the dates of the ordinary meetings of the Council for the Municipal Year 2019/20, all commencing at 10.30 am;

(b)  To agree that the next Annual Meeting of the Council will be held on Friday 22^nd May, 2020; and

(c)  To confirm the dates for the remaining meetings shown in the Council Calendar for 2019/20.

Moved by Councillor Sir Steve Houghton CBE – Seconded by Councillor Andrews BEM; and

RESOLVED:

(i)            That ordinary meetings of the Council for the Municipal Year 2019/20 be held on the following Thursdays commencing at 10.30 am:-

Thursday 23^rd May, 2019

Thursday 25^th July, 2019 (including accounts)

Thursday 26^th September, 2019

Thursday 28^th November, 2019

Thursday 6^th February, 2020 (including HRA)

Thursday 27^th February, 2020 (Budget meeting)

Thursday 5^th March, 2020 (provisional Budget meeting to be cancelled if budget approved on the 27^th February, 2020)

Thursday 2^nd April, 2020

(ii)          That the next Annual Council Meeting be held on Friday 22^nd May, 2020 at 6.00 pm; and

(iii)         That the report of the Executive Director Core Services seeking to confirm the dates for the remaining meetings shown in the Council Calendar for 2019/20, now submitted, be adopted.
