RESOLVED:-

(i)        that an open, OJEU-compliant tender process be undertaken to recruit a suitable domestic energy supply company partner to offer a dedicated energy tariff to Barnsley residents, as set out in the report now submitted;

(ii)       that the award of the contract to the successful tenderer to establish a partnership agreement for a domestic energy supply be delegated to the Executive Director Place, or their authorised representative;

(iii)      that delegated authority be given to the Executive Director Core Services to enter in to the agreement with the domestic energy supplier on behalf of the Council; and

(iv)      that the strategic objectives of the domestic energy supply offer as set out at paragraph 4.4 of the report be agreed;
