The Executive Director Place will submit a report seeking authority to adopt the Local Plan following the receipt of the Planning Inspector’s main modifications and additional changes, as it provides an appropriate basis for the planning of the borough and, therefore, meets the criteria for soundness in the National Planning Policy Framework.

RECOMMENDED that the Local Plan, including main modifications included within the Inspector’s report (at Appendix 2 to the report), together with the additional changes proposed by the Council referred to in paragraph 3.9 of this report, be formally adopted by the Council.
