To replace the current contract with a 5 year contract which will run from 01/10/2022 to 30/09/2027 at a cost of £25000 p/a, total expenditure £125000.
This is essential expenditure which is required to ensure that BMBC can continue to deliver the Healthy Child Programme. A longer contract term has provided some savings against shorter terms.
To procure an alternative solution – the current Case Management is the predominant IT system used within Barnsley Healthcare providers and well embedded into BMBC with plans to roll it out across more teams. It would not be efficient to change solutions as this point.
