To extend the current contract with 2 x 24-month extensions.
The contract will run from 01/04/2022 to 31/03/2024 with a final optional end date of 31/03/2026 (to be funded by Adult and Communities Business Unit).
To implement the Charging Module to support Government Funding Reform by April 2023 (to be funded Finance Business Unit).
This is essential expenditure which is required to ensure that Adult Social Care can manage payments to care providers and deliver against the Adult Social Care Reforms due to come into place in October 2023.
To procure an alternative solution – the current payment solution is integrated with the Adult Social Care Case Management system, and it would not be efficient to change solutions as this point.
