To extend the current Together Housing contract for two years whist changes to provision in similar facilities (authorisation” under Cabinet report Cab.6.2.201911), are actioned.
We are currently introducing the provision of 24/7 Care in addition to wellbeing support at 2 Extra Care facilities. This is with South Yorkshire Housing Authority at Westmeads, Royston and Guinness Care at Fitzwilliam Court, Hoyland.
It is intended, if this model is successful to roll out the model and include the two Together Housing projects at Lavender Court, Kendray and Cherry Tree Court, Goldthorpe.
Any alternatives would have to consider a two tier provision that would not offer equal opportunities for tenants.
