Authority given to extend the contract for 1 year at a cost of £34750 to run from 01/10/2021 to 30/09/2022
The system is used by Human Resources to manage the recruitment of staff and is key to this process. The original plan to replace this system with Success Factors has been delayed from October 2020 to October 2021 due to the impact of the COVID19 pandemic on internal and external resources therefore a contract extension is required.
Do Nothing – the current contract would end on 30/09/2021 and would leave BMBC without a recruitment system in place. This is not an option.
Bring forward the move into Success Factors – the Project Manager has explored this option and has advised that the timeline cannot be brought forward any further and also that a period of dual running will be required.
